Midway Fencing and Corden Perimeter Systems were engaged by Insight Security to install a safety solution for a private residence where a young person with additional needs had demonstrated the ability to climb over existing fencing, posing a significant risk of escape and potential harm. The primary objective was to implement a secure, yet non-aggressive, barrier that would safely contain the individual within the garden environment.

4. Specialised Installation: The solution necessitated the use of cranked brackets on the fences and extended universal brackets for the single-story building to ensure effective barrier placement and security.

The Solution: Roller Barrier – The Non-Aggressive Anti-Climb Barrier

1. Perimeter Assessment & Planning:  A Detailed evaluation of all garden perimeter sections was conducted to determine the most effective installation methods and bracket types.
2. Fence Infrastructure Upgrade: One long fence was completely replaced to provide a robust foundation for the barrier. For the second long fence, batons were packed out on each post to create the necessary depth and support for the Roller Barrier.
