The Challenge
Our customer needed a new anti-climb and secure system to upgrade their perimeter security. The existing railings were outdated and no longer fit for purpose, and with the site located in the City Centre, the aesthetics and keeping the premises secure at all times were a top priority.
The solution needed to be strong, durable, and difficult to climb, while ensuring the site remained secure throughout installation. The fencing ran close to existing hedges, which the site wanted to retain, meaning installation access was limited to the front. Furthermore, the customer needed to retain a specific welded-in mortise gate lock to avoid the cost and inconvenience of replacing keys and locks.
The Solution

- To maintain site security during installation, our team replaced the fencing in carefully managed sections, keeping the site secure and tidy at all times.
- To handle the specialist gate lock transfer, we partnered with DG Scott, who expertly removed the original gate and reinstalled the lock onto the new one, all while preserving the integrity of the galvanising and powder-coated finish.
- Within just 24 hours, the new gate was installed and fully operational.
